Pros

One of the key factors that drew me to apply for this company was their core values, and as part of the team for several months I am glad to say that we truly lived them - innovation, flexibility, and people orientation. The culture was amazing because everyone had genuine passion to help improve people's lives with their skills and talents. Though the experience was fully remote, I felt constantly supported and made genuine connections with everyone on the team through our frequent "happy hour" hangouts and coffee chats. As a relatively inexperienced product design intern I'm really thankful for the autonomy I had, I learned a ton while contributing to product vision and driving impactful design decisions.

Cons

Remote work has its inevitable down-sides and there are natural constraints and limitations (budget/time/resources) that come with a new startup.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to learn from others and grow within your role. People really care about helping you out and are open to all ideas/opinions you have. Regular check in meetings during remote work help to clarify doubts and the company is always looking for ways to improve current strategies and processes. Another amazing plus is the flexibility when it comes to working hours and scheduling meetings - team is always willing to make things work for everyone.

Cons

Some evening meetings due to remote work for now. Probably will change in the future so not really a con!
