Pros

most of the co-workers are wonderful.

Cons

worst manager I have ever worked for, horrible work life balance, does not pay a living wage for the area so you will not be able to afford basic life necessities, if you are capable you will be given more work without a pay increase. I would never let someone I cared about accept a job here.

Dear Anonymous, We recently came across your review on Glassdoor and wanted to take a moment to address the concerns you've raised. One of our core values at Pierre Frey is communication, and as such we value all feedback as it helps us grow and improve, and we regret to hear that your experience with us fell short of expectations. I am glad you mentioned your co-workers. We are fortunate to have a wonderful team in Atlanta as well as in our other showrooms across the United States. As a family-owned company, we value and encourage solidarity, respect, empathy, joy, and genuine care for each other. Regarding work-life balance: our hours of operations are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. We also offer a standard Paid Time Off package of two weeks paid vacation per year, 4 personal days, 5 sick days, various holidays amounting to approximately 11 extra days. That represents a total of 6 weeks paid time off. Regarding wages, we are careful to stay competitive and well within industry standards. We also take great pride in offering excellent healthcare coverage, as well as life insurance and a generous contribution-matching 401K program. Finally, regarding your comment about being given more work without pay increase, we reevaluate compensation levels each year and make decisions on compensation based on employee productivity, general demeanor, and motivation to go above and beyond. When a new position becomes available within the company, we will actively consider internal candidates before seeking external hires. We believe in nurturing the talent we already have and giving our employees the chance to take on new challenges, and we are proud to have numerous examples of employee advancement from within. We want to assure you that we take your feedback seriously and are committed to making necessary changes. Thank you for your time with Pierre Frey and for sharing your thoughts. We believe that every voice matters, and we are dedicated to using this feedback to improve the experiences of both current and future team members. The Direction

Pros

Working at Pierre Frey was a truly enriching experience. The company’s deep heritage in French textile design, combined with a forward-thinking approach to creativity and craftsmanship, made it an inspiring environment to be part of. I had the opportunity to work alongside passionate, talented colleagues and contribute to projects that celebrated both tradition and innovation. The client base in Boston was wonderful to work along side with. One of the highlights of my time there was the leadership — particularly the CEO, whose vision and integrity set the tone for a collaborative and supportive culture. Even though I’ve since moved on to pursue new opportunities, I left with great respect for the brand and its people. I’m grateful for everything I learned at Pierre Frey and will always value my time with the company. I was told about this platform to review companies and it is unfortunate that employess, when they leave say negative things about the company.

Cons

I don't really have anything negative to share
