Pros
The company grew from about 100 to 150 employees during my almost 7 year tenure (2004-2011), and had a great culture. There were a lot of creative minds working there, and pretty much everyone that I interacted with there had a great attitude and were fun to be around. So, in general, it was a positive place to work, and the pay was good (at least mine was. I was not privy to anyone else's salary or pay scale).
Cons
During my tenure, Jim Collins took over as CEO from Founder and then-CEO Jason Kiefer. I liked Jason, and liked Jim even more -- everyone loved Jim. Then, shortly after I left the company, things changed there and Jim was out and, nobody seems happy with Pictage now (employees and customers alike). Rumors are flying that it's days are numbered. Since I am not there anymore, take this as a disclaimer -- I am getting this information from others. However, I hear it so much and on various photographer forums, it is clear that the company is not the same as when I was there -- in a negative way -- which is sad.
