Very much alert management, which will ask employees to write fake positive reviews when they find truths about their company written in Glassdoor.

Cons

Have Great things to say about them. They will hire saying we have a big run way. So dont worry. Then they will say Corona has hit us. So we cant pay you. Leave the company. If asked they will tell so much of stories straight opposite they told you during your hiring. Seriously asking You are running a tech company or a Drama company? Is the careers of the employees so cheap for you.. Simply say salary cut, no variable pay, else leave the job.. SO easy?? And experts in telling lies about the revenue. The employees are not fools. All know what was the revenue the company made. How profitable was it is. But then suddenly come and say we do not have money. So we need to downsize. And the HR department. DO you know what a HR department actually is? Talk so much and convince a candidate to join the company. Then When the management simply fires them go and Hide your self??Is this the responsibility?? For all those who are reading it. Do not get distracted by the few fake positive reviews written by them, and also the way they convince you to join the company. They do not have any corporate or organisational morals.

Hi This is Srinath (One of the Co-founders). I acknowledge the feelings you might be going through because of the recent events and taking this opportunity to address the same. What we are facing at Pickyourtrail is a black swan event (COVID 19) which could not be predicted or modeled in any roadmap projection. Unprecedented global actions like border closure, lock downs and restricted people movement has seen even the trusted big brands in travel industry gasping for survival. Future has in store a testing and prolonged harsh environment for the travel industry in the coming quarters. This led us to the current juncture where we had to take this tough decision after lot of contemplation. Having said this we are extremely proud of all the team members of Pickyourtrail and are working with earnest intent to outplace all the candidates. Kindly do reach out to either us or the HR team and we will extend our best possible support to help in this transition with least disruption. P.S: While my response seems like a copy paste, the context of all the reviews we are receiving in Mar 2020 and my response are with true intention and looking to address their concern. I can assure you that our intention was never to hurt people and we tried being as transparent as possible in our communication. We understand the way you must be feeling and can offer only unconditional apology for the events which were not in our control.
