Pros

- If you're a lead EA on an account you know how many hours you have - only if you have a client though. - Flexible, remote job

Cons

- If you're a cofyxer hours are even less guaranteed and ad hoc in comparison to if you're lead EA - Low pay. You can be managing other EA's within the client's team and make much less than their junior EA - promised learning/training opportunities within the "community" but non-existent

Pros

The company operates in a fast moving, startup environment with opportunities to take initiative and contribute beyond defined roles. There is strong exposure to client facing work and the ability to develop problem solving skills quickly. Huge benefits are being apart of startups and developing businesses and networking.

Cons

In my experience, there were challenges around role clarity, ownership of work, and how contributions were tracked across team members. In situations where responsibilities overlapped, this sometimes led to misalignment in accountability and compensation. I hope this has changed to track hours worked by an employee and better understanding with employee communication and contractor engagement.

Pros

I can honestly say that my experience at Pickle (formerly Fyxer People) has been nothing short of incredible. I joined the company as a young mum, and naturally I was a bit anxious about balancing work with family life—but from day one, I felt completely supported, understood, and valued. What really stands out about Pickle is how much they genuinely care about their people. This isn’t just something they say—it’s reflected in their actions every single day. The flexibility, empathy, and encouragement I received made such a difference during a pivotal time in my life. Whether it was accommodating my schedule, checking in on my wellbeing, or simply creating an environment where I felt comfortable being open about my situation, the support was always there. The culture is warm, inclusive, and empowering. You’re treated as a whole person, not just an employee, and that level of understanding is rare. I never felt like I had to choose between being a good parent and doing a great job—they made it possible to be both. I’ve grown in confidence and professionally in ways I didn’t expect, all because I was given the space and support to thrive. I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of a company that leads with compassion and truly invests in its people. I would wholeheartedly recommend Pickle to anyone looking for a workplace where they’ll feel supported, respected, and valued.

Cons

No cons at all- would whole heartedly recommend!
