Pros

When the run in-house PD it’s good - they just cancel A LOT of it. There are a handful of physios that are great.

Cons

Low staff moral, no mentoring, zero accountability from management, company is all talk about what they’ll provide and no follow through. Company not interested in fixing any issues raised, just blame individuals (as highlighted in their responses here). “No KPI’s” just means it’s hard to negotiate pay (31% commission on $55 consults). No car allowance. Reprimanded for completing billable reports during work hours?! They state that “no client is too complex” and expect that you work outside of your scope (dangerous!). No safety checks in place for home visits. Very few physios stay over one year, better conditions/support/pay elsewhere.

• There has been some cancellations of events due to COVID which is outside our control but I can confirm that we have run our entire program this year and have also caught up the missed sessions from last year which has been a great achievement of our education team • It seems likely that this review is a repeat review from the same person that posted another negative review recently. There is a cohort of 4 disgruntled employees who have decided amongst themselves to try to run a noxious campaign to discredit this company for their own satisfaction. Whilst they feel they are acting anonymously and this has allowed them additional courage to make statements that are inflammatory, damaging and in many cases slanderous we know exactly who they are. Their motivation appears to be dissatisfaction with their employment of which they completely blame their employer for and take no responsibility for conveying their issues in a more appropriate way such as through the internal channels of the business where positive changes can be made as they would be identifying themselves. • We have our retention statistics on this website and that does not represent high turnover so that statement is wrong. This person claims to be a current employee for over 2 years are dissatisfied but are still there so that undermines their argument considered satisfied employees would likely stay longer than dissatisfied employees. Morale is low for this employee clearly as they have many complaints but reflecting that on the other 349 the great majority they have never met is a long bow to draw. • Saying that a business that has grown in excess of 20% per annum for more than 20 years is “stagnant” shows that this reviewer is extrapolating their limited experience in the business to the whole group erroneously • We run a very successful, large business which would not be possible to have developed with accountability. The high levels of accountability have meant that the business can continually improve and grow. This is not an accident, it is not all luck, it is hard work, dedication and continuous improvement backed by accountability • The reviewer seems displeased that the previous negative reviews were responded to, the responses discredited the reviews as they were poorly written and researched, contained inappropriate language and on the whole avoided facts. It would have been great to get balanced reviews based on facts that highlighted areas that we can improve on as this would have been a positive process. It would be even better for employees such as this to communicate their issues through the appropriate channels which means they would have been positively understood and addressed rather than the forum they have chosen. The responses provided are not blaming individuals but if something is not factual that is being highlighted and there is no apology required in doing this. • There are KPIs but they are not productivity KPIs. This is because these are tough for the employees that are less productive and we support all our physios. The more productive physios would be fine with KPI but those that we are working with to improve their productivity from low levels would likely feel the pressure of such input • The commission percentage quoted is not applicable in this employees case as they have stated they are a third year physio so that is wrong. • We do provide bulk billing for CDM plans and we feel that this is a great initiative that supports lower income clients that have chronic medical conditions and can access physio in the private sector where many of these would not be able to if they had to pay a gap. We feel this is a socially responsible position and are disappointed that the reviewer feels this should be changed so they can potentially make more income for themselves • We provide the options of company cars for our physios so those that are wanting to reduce their costs in this area have this rare and innovative option • Being “reprimanded” for completing billable reports during work hours is a ridiculous and baseless allegation. There is no logical reason why that would happen, there seems to be some serious communication concerns regarding this employee based on their understanding of this matter • It is disturbing that this employee has chosen to work outside of their scope of practice and this is something that we would be addressing immediately if they identified themselves. The fact that this choice has been made by a health professional who then blames their employer says a lot about the accountability levels of this employee. The statement of “no client is too complex” is not one that the company makes and that justification for their self directed unsafe work practices does not work • The pay of the receptionists was not $12 an hour, that is incorrect. We do have traineeships as part of our business and are proud of that. We have had amazing outcomes from our traineeship programs and giving young people a chance at careers they would otherwise not have been able to access is a very fulfilling experience allowing on the job experience and support and training for other members of the team

Pros

Wonderful gym, large and well equipped Grea local team, helpful to one another, very supportive Really great central location Pilates classes, 1-5 participants, varied caseload

Cons

Remote management, email and phone support , nothing face to face, no regional management, everything comes from head office which is interstate. Default 30 min appointments, long days 8am -7pm , so much has to be done on days off to catch up. NDIS reports, workers compensation reports , days can have no breaks, when is this meant to get done?
