      Pros

      Company will pay well for progress.

      Cons

      You are not the master of your own destiny. If the endoscopy company has problems, or physicians don't want to use this company, you are screwed. Plus the new management team hired new managers. Some of these managers are the best. I worked for some. Others are horrible that don't have a clue regarding leadership. I know of outstanding sales people that are on performance reviews due to endoscopy company problems. The rep has done nothing wrong. If your numbers go down due to karl storz problems, you will get canned. Management does this to save their jobs. If a territory suffers from an equipment issue, you are fired. Investors are breathing down the throats of upper management.

      Pros

      The product actually helps patients and can save lives. The drug is looked at as a nice to have but it should be required.

      Cons

      Sales are impossible. If you dont hit your number you can either stock accounts or push physicians to use when its not necessary. You can not make cancer patients appear!!! The company does not sell the equipment and the company who does sells so many other things that this sale is not the priority. You are required to cold call and sell equipment that you do not get paid on but if you don't have machines placed you do not have hospitals to sell the drug to. It is a very convoluted sale. High turn over in problematic territories. The benefits are horrible!!!!
