Wow! Thank you for your quick review. It is very nice to read your words although I think we can always improve and we are constantly striving to create an ever stronger culture of transparency and an ever more motivating environment. Although sometimes small companies can seem too personal because of their family atmosphere, we believe this allows us to work through our work issues more quickly and ultimately increase productivity in a wholesome and natural way. We are very proud that our employees are not just numbers working in a huge warehouse, but feel part of a small (but growing) team whose members are highly motivated to work together to reach our common goals.

Pros

There was remote work for some positions. Hybrid for all others. Minimum a week off between Christmas and New Years. They do tend to promote from within.

Cons

The reviews about discrimination are correct. The company says one of its core values is diversity and inclusion but that is false. Anti-black racism ran rampant in the company from people at all levels. When I was there only 1 manager listened to feedback when you called them out on their micro-aggressions and would not tolerate discrimination of any kind. He was not in a position to stop discrimination though. The CEO and President would both make disparaging remarks about the people they hire and contracted. CEO would complain about how expensive labor is and we were paid under the current market rate for our positions. You will not get a raise while working there. They will be promised when they win a big contract but it never comes through. There are not cost of living adjustments either. People were constantly working overtime and it was seen as a badge of honor. Work life balance was a joke for many people at the company. Working sick was required whether you had Covid, the flu, etc. There were only 3 weeks of PTO a year. Micromanaging started from the top down. Managers were not given the training or freedom they needed to run their departments effectively. They are micromanaged and in turn micromanaged their teams. At least a personal goal for me- I learned the importance of having an inclusive work environment because we had none. Letting discrimination run rampant was the most disgusting thing I witnessed. I have exclusively talked about race but discrimination in all its forms ran rampant. Even when I reported discrimination I experienced, the outside HR rep and company did not take it seriously. I learned after I left that no one was ever reprimanded for it. So this place did make me a better advocate for workers at the expensive of my health. Silver lining I guess.
