The mutual respect of team members allowed for a text book "high performance team". You could count on others for their expertise and they could count on you.
Cons
Changes in management lead to an increase in top people leaving and a number of other factors (such as a move to a smaller, cheaper location and greater focus on visibility and prettiness rather than quality lead to my exodus.
