Pros

Flexible shift allowance... thats about it

Cons

Poor interpersonal skills amongst most of the management. They prioritise figures and the needs of their clients over their staff. A good example of this was when i succeeded in attaining a sale and they immediately commented on my "poor call rate".... no congratulations and no creedence for the amount of hours needed to entise CEO's into wasting 30 minutes of their time for... really, no immediate gratification. Ambience is depressing and i reckon they don't hire cleaners... rubbish is left lying around from agents who were operating at that desk the day previously. Manky. Also, the equipment used by the researchers is extremely outdated. I saw a man, much to his embarressment, fall backwards off his deskchair on to the concrete floor. This could have potentially been serious (for the employee AND the firm) and not much of a fuss was kicked up about it from management .

Hi there, thanks so much for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you thought the casual worker contract was a benefit. We love being able to provide a workplace that can offer such flexible hours for our employees, making working during university years or around a second job possible. Of course it works both ways though, and as you are able to pick your own hours, it also means the nature of our work can mean that less work is available sometimes (or other times, lots is available!). This can be frustrating, and we understand that. That's why we explain before, during and after training how the company works. We also encourage employees to keep their availability updated online, and show up for their shifts on time and consistently, to build reliability and trust with the project managers. If they know they can count on you, you are far more likely to be scheduled in for shifts as they become available and eventually be able to rely on a relatively regular shift pattern. It would be unfair of us to offer set contracts (although it's something we wish we could do!). That's because many of our projects run into delays or set-backs on the client's end, and are therefore our of our control. We would hate to promise someone work for a certain amount of time, only have to cancel future shifts on that project. That's why many of our employees work this position around a second job too. We hope that this explains things a little better for you and that you would consider recommending friends or family to work with us in the future.
