Pros

They do have a good benifits package, although it takes a chunk out of each paycheck, but all do really. My manager is very fair about time off and the vacation, personal days, and sick days add up very quickly to amount to some good time off. It's 1 week vacation the first 6 months then 2 weeks after year aniversary. Plus 2 personal days that year.

Cons

I became a groundskeeper with the misunderstanding that it would be much more landscape involved, which is my history. However, the job is very simple-trash and lights out and delivering notices. The days can seem long because it's not really active.

Pros

Pay. The regional manager in Omaha pays extraordinarily well to recruit and attempt to retain employees. The result is several employees, amongst the roughly 75 in Omaha, have been employees for more than 20 years.

Cons

There is zero respect for employees. The rules are arbitrary and a rule is often made up and enforced on a specific person rather than implemented throughout the region. Management is frequently relied upon to look the other way as the regional manager steals from the company. Employees at all levels are treated in a condisending and critical manner. In three years, I never once heard 'good job!' to myself or anyone else. There is no escalation process for problem resolution above the regional manager. No human resources department even at the corporate level. (This is a companie with more than a thousand employees!)
