Pros

If you love working with animals and being outdoors, you will enjoy this job. The hours are flexible, and they work with you to find jobs in your desired location. You're covered by the company's insurance and bond. Roxana, the human resources/customer service/general contact and face of the company is very nice, and very quick to address any issues you may have.

Cons

The pay is terrible. It would be better, but you make about half of what the company charges clients. The CEO Jordan Kaplan is nonexistent. He does not reply to your emails. Roxana is the main contact, and I am certain she is under payed for everything she does.

Pros

Great to be outdoors! I enjoy being outside and got a chance to get my "doggy fix" as I had to leave my dogs at home when I moved to nyc. The dogs always put a smile on my face no matter what was happening in my life. Beats a retail job and Iost 5 pounds from all the walking! I liked that it was 1 on 1 walks and not pack walks, I see those dogs in large groups and feel bad how are they getting any attention...

Cons

It is a physical job outdoors in the elements, dogs are animals and have their quirks like people, the pay is low but I knew what I was getting into the company is very upfront about that and that the love of animals is the payoff. Jobs in the service sector are generally low pay I was not doing this for the money, yes I was paid but I really wanted to work with animals.
