Pros

Free lunch once a week

Cons

Set up to fail, Micromanagement, inflexible management, zero autonomy, They lied about the salary package when starting saying it was 60k only to reveal it was 54k annually, 60 includes super and there is a high turnover. You're allowed to bring your pets into the office to lighten the environment but it would be far better if they simply changed the way they managed. Micromanagement is done out of fear which only makes things more likely to go wrong. People bring their pets in which go to the toilet on the carpet and gnaw at the armrests on the computer chairs.

Great strategy, purposeful, pet friendly, generous staff benefits and good flexibility.

Cons

There's a lot going on across the business, it's hard to know what to prioritise.

Pros

There is a steep learning curve, and some people in the company can be great mentors - if you’re lucky enough to work with them.

Cons

Very stressful work environment with little regard for work - life balance. As a new graduate, I often worked until 9 pm trying to learn the role and keep up with expectations, largely due to limited mentoring and guidance. My manager also had a highly micromanaging style, requiring updates thrice a day. One incident that stood out to me was when there was a fire alarm evacuation in my building and I was told to continue working from a library instead. What surprised me most was that there was no concern expressed about whether I was safe before being asked to resume work.
