Pros

1. You make your own schedule. Literally. Your in control of your own appointments and work hours. Work 4 days or 5 days or a little every day. 2. There is possibility of overtime, if that's what you want. 3. Depending on your manager (mine is awesome), there is little to no micromanaging. You're not only autonomous in your scheduling, but also in your work as long as you meet your numbers. 4. You can get promoted every 3 months. As long as you meet requirements for the next level (There are 6 levels) you can get promoted. 5. 401k Company match- They give you option of Roth /Traditional. 6. Insurance, health and dental, is extremely cheap through the company. It somewhat makes up for the low pay 7. MOST people you have to interview are cooperative. 8. If you want a fed job or gov job- this is a great job to meet other feds and get a connection through interviewing them

Cons

1. Hard to network within the company. Since there is no human interaction with anyone besides your boss (I speak to mine about once a month if that). 2. The pay is laughable for the workload. It's a professional job yet they don't want to pay you like one. 3. Your really not an investigator. Maybe 5% of your role will make you feel like one. You don't get to use creativity or skills since you are reading of a paper. 4. In terms of your reporting, the people that review your work can impact your bonus and promotions even if they are wrong

Pros

Car Work from home Make own schedule

Cons

Everything. I actually worked here 10 years ago when it was Keypoint, but Glassdoor won’t let me go back that far. I was hired with a promise of a good salary and work life balance. A year and change in, they decided that they over hired and withheld work so they could justify demoting me 4 levels and cutting pay 30k. They promote from within so the dude in the mailroom became supervisor having never done the job.
