Pros

-Generally nice people there -the founders are really kind and generous - An agency with a lot to learn but not somewhere you would want to stay long term - Great office

Cons

#1 the people - PE's core strength is it's people. you get really nice people there but you get very very dispicable ones as well (both in working level and upper management). You have gossip mongers (who are not doing their job and always seem to have time on their hands to spread gossip), you have people who throw others under the bus, and certainly a handful of ppl who are not pulling their weight. -there's a lot of internal groups here. You have mini groups everywhere and everyone is always gossiping about each other. Some of these people have WAY too much free time. #2 working structure -You have some people who have crazy OTs and then you have some that are too free. And it's a roll of the dice on which you'll be. - When one department doesnt pull their weight, other departments (or their respective leads) have to cover on their behalf. Instead of being accountable, these irresponsible ppl are allowed to get away with it because they're coddled by their own leads - but this can be said with the leads themselves as well (protected by management). -there's a disparity in the way different departments manage their team. One half leads their team with the highest of quality and accountability, and the other doesn't really care. This disparity means that the former needs to take on extra responsibilities to cover for others and sometimes this gets REALLY out of the jobscope. #3 leadership -while the founders are generally nice people (they are, really) but i personally think they need to step up. It is quite known that they tend to give people way too much leeway when it comes to work quality (to the point that #2 goes out of hand). It is also known that they are not the type that would "fire" people. Hence, irresponsible ppl there have no fear of consequences. -Official reviews are one way only, Superiors to juniors. there is no way to formally review your superiors. -not really flexible. When management says that the working arrangements are flexible, it is really not. When influenza/covid hit the office, it had to take an entire department to be sick before they took it serious and let us WFH. Then those departments that are hit have to cover for the sick colleagues resulting in a lot of burnout. a problem they could have avoided if they took the sickness seriously when it started. #4 the work - apart from people who are irresponsible, you will definitely get people who are really not capable at their job. So don't expect to come in with ambitions to create "really good work". you'll find a handful of people who are really good at their job (you'll love working with them if you're lucky enuf), and then you'll find the rest at the end of the other spectrum - those who are there just for the bare minimum. -the majority of the client-facing teams are just there to pass on messages from clients. Conclusion: - for anyone new in the industry, treat this as a stepping stone. learn then ciao. because if you're staying, that means you either "dgaf and become part of the problem" or you're constantly facing issues with people because you're trying to solve a problem or just trying to survive. -this is not a place to expand your portfolio. because ppl are not pulling their weight, you wont be able to do things you want to do.

Pros

- A good workplace that offers opportunities to step outside your comfort zone and be involved in diverse projects, supporting both personal and professional growth. -A generally positive workplace with caring colleagues and management. There is room for improvement if management considers feedback from a wider range of team members, rather than depending only on team leads’ perspectives.

Cons

Challenges arise when team leads do not engage in open discussions with their team members and instead report to upper management based on personal observation and assumptions. This often leads to miscommunication and decisions that do not reflect the team’s actual situation.

Pros

Person Edge has a strong reputation in Malaysia for a reason. Working here gives you the chance to interact with top tier clients and a great team. The training provided is solid, and you really learn how to strategize rather than just executing.

Cons

The pace can be very fast, which might be overwhelming for someone who prefers a highly structured, slow moving environment.
