Pros

Remote work makes the job tolerable.

Cons

The organization's lack of transparency in managing clients creates an environment that is "good old boy" authoritarian. Employees are strongly discouraged from going above their direct supervisors, as doing so leads to punitive measures, creating a climate of fear and favor-based targeting. Such a toxic atmosphere suppresses creativity and innovation, with employees hesitant to present new ideas or suggest improvements due to potential backlash or dismissal. Alternatively, when employees contribute highly creative ideas, their efforts are often appropriated by their supervisors. This hierarchical structure stifles open communication, preventing the innovations that clients want to see. As a result, this climate of fear and favoritism hinders professional growth and development, making career paths unclear. The high turnover rates and difficulties in attracting new talent are exacerbating the already toxic culture. This climate of fear and favoritism ultimately hampers professional growth and development, making it difficult for employees to see a clear career path. The organization has faced extremely high turnover rates and is struggling to attract new talent, further entrenching its toxic culture.

Pros

Used to be a wonderful place to work before being bought out.

Cons

There is no feeling of teamwork anymore. Management could be quite nasty and favoritism ran high. New manager seemed to like running things like it was a third world country.
