Upper management has lost site of the importance of a positive company culture, and teamwork. There have been many bottom line cuts which have contributed to a loss of morale and innovation from the company as a whole. As others have stated, when there is a sole focus of the current quarter you will start to see a small negative effect on the bottom line in the future. Unfortunately, those losses are starting to mount and the general trend is currently in the negative direction.
