Pros

TSS realized considerable growth with efforts in business development, marketing, and acquisition during my tenure there. The management team always worked to keep staff up to date on what was going on when relevant and made sure that everyone was compensated for their work. There was good accountability, in that if a mistake was made, more effort was put into solving the problem and ensuring the mistake was not repeated. This is much better than so many places that simply place blame and don't help staff learn and grow. Benefits were solid as well, and the work environment was informal and effective. Maintaining a good work/life balance is something that TSS did well during my time there. There was zero stuffiness and everyone was free to work in a manner best suited to how he or she could get the job done. Basically, management got out of the way and let the subject experts do the work in the best way possible. Overall, TSS was a great place to work.

Cons

Communication of company vision with regards to employees could be more effective. However, I challenge anyone to show me a place that does that perfectly. Otherwise, reviews should be done more often so that staff knows how they're doing and where they stand. Otherwise, I had no problems.

Pros

Coworkers were smart, kind, and a genuine pleasure to work alongside.

Cons

Upper management is heartless. Someone at the top needs to be visited by three spirits this holiday season. I had to take medical leave due to type three, stage three cancer treatment. As soon as I started chemotherapy, the company cancelled my health insurance without notice. As soon as I was cleared to return to work, and after HR assured me that they would make sure my transition back to work was smooth and seamless, I was laid off on my first day back.
