Pros

Unlimited PTO Healthcare paid for 401k matching but it is low Overall employees are nice

Cons

-Terrible upper management who pick favorites -Way too many stand up meetings and then complain about billable hours -Upper management will make you feel very uncomfortable in department meetings -inexperienced direct managers that are not fit to have a team of 5-10 ppl under them -Will hound you for feedback and then will throw it back in your face after you give it -Makes you feel like your job is expendable even though you work hard -and to top it all off, there is zero HR department so when you have an issue within the company there is no one to go to for help/support Be careful joining a company that has all super positive reviews, they ask for people to give glass-door reviews 3 months after being there so of course they will be positive at that point Huge red flag that they refer to the work place as a "family"

Performio Response

I'm really sorry things didn't work out for you at Performio. We're a fast-growing company and we try to promote from within, so while we certainly do have first-time managers here, they are always high-performers that care deeply about their people. None of our manager has anywhere near 10 direct reports and we do now have a Chief People Officer and a full HR department that is investing in great manager training. Please don't discount the 80+ positive reviews on this site - they are genuine and reflective of a team that is very proud of what we do here. I wish you the best in your next role

Pros

One of the standout aspects is the transparency exhibited by the senior leadership team. They consistently communicate the company's vision, goals, and performance, which fosters a sense of trust and clarity among employees. Regular town halls, open-door policies, and accessible leaders create an environment where information is readily available and questions are welcomed. The company culture promotes teamwork and collaboration. Colleagues are generally supportive, and there are ample opportunities for cross-functional projects that enhance learning and professional growth.

Cons

Despite the many positives, the workload and expectations set by management are often overwhelming. Employees frequently face tight deadlines and high-pressure situations, which can lead to burnout. The company would benefit from reassessing its project timelines and resource allocation to ensure a more sustainable work-life balance for its employees. Due to the high demands, achieving a healthy work-life balance can be challenging. Extended hours and weekend work are not uncommon, which can negatively impact personal time and well-being. There are instances where the available resources do not match the scope and scale of the projects. This mismatch can create additional stress and hinder the ability to deliver quality work within the expected timeframes.
