Pros

I have worked at PPC for a long enough period and all my comments here are based on truth and nothing but the truth hoping that it would be helpful for whoever is interested working there. PPC has had a very bad reputation treating with their employees. The company is disrespectful or unprofessional with a poor culture and if you want to find out why, please make sure you read to the end. One of the things that you NEVER see within the company is policy and/or procedure helping you to do your job acceptably. But don’t take it wrong, there are all kind of disciplinary action policies in place. Believe it or not, you could be suspended form work and not paid up for a week if they don’t like what you do! I have personally seen several people went through this although they quit afterwards. The job responsibilities are entirely unclear and vague. No one can explain (neither CEO) what success in your role will look like and they treat you like a third-grader who needs to worry about getting sent to the principal's office every day. Even for those of us who are comfortable going with the flow, a position that is this open-ended can spell frustration and you feel this on every single day of your work at PPC. There have been always a constant pattern of people leaving the company. No one seems to want to work there for very long. So, don’t be surprised if you notice that virtually everyone is new on your first day. Just to make an example, this company has changed “Plant Manager” 4 times in less than a year period of time! Interview process here is so strange and it can take up to a year - I am not even kidding! They leave you hanging forever in anxiety. What is worst is that; you are not given an opportunity to interview with your future manager. It’s just how this company works! So don't surprise if you are interviewed with “A” but work later under “B”. Work schedule is such as chaos meaning that you can never meet your boss or people you need to do your job. You will see people who never show up for a day or more without even notice. And of course there is no overtime pay neither for direct nor for contractors. Speaking of high managers, this is another example of a toxic workplace where managers and employees make up two completely separate groups that never interact. First management is never around to help solve problems. Second there is a pervasive lack of communication all over the place. You may get little to no feedback about your performance, and when you do, it’s negative and harsh with absolutely no appreciation. You may be doing the work of two, three, or four people, yet it’s not unusual for your boss to take credit for your accomplishments. This is where you will never see company’s mission is followed. Top managers think they’ve nailed company culture because they have a fancy board all over the place with vision and mission statement. Yet, they fail to notice the group of people near are complaining of their workload and bad managers every morning. A perfect example of a workplace where the boss is a bully and no one knows what they are looking for. Speaking of meetings, first of all, disruptive and violent behavior is an inseparable part of daily meetings at PPC. You will be shocked when you see people yell and abuse verbally each other at meetings! Truly I believe hate and anger are how they get through the day and you will see this through the entire company including top managers. Meetings are like a waste of time and inevitably blowing up into disorganized chaos where after spending plenty of time nothing is achieved. This is like a disaster and anyone who has worked at PPC are aware of this. Meetings are full of confusion where you see project managers set up arbitrary deadlines for the projects without consulting with others. When you raise the issue and speak up hoping to resolve it, you will face with a general malaise that “this is the way it’s always been done”. The most noticeable characteristic of this workplace is the fact that people blame each other all the time for what went wrong. Making excuses and blames is a typical thing you see during your daily conversation with people within different departments at PPC. They never take responsibility for their behaviors, faults, mistakes or actions and instead they always blame others; it’s always someone else’s fault. There is a constant assumption that others are out to catch their mistakes.

Cons

There is really nothing but say the company is relatively good with sending people for training outside - I really tired to not say "It's not worth my time to leave a positive comment!"

Pros

I had the privilege of serving as the General Manager at Performance Pulsation Control in Richardson, TX, and I can genuinely say it was an outstanding experience. The people at PPC are nothing short of wonderful. They are collaborative, hardworking, and truly dedicated to excellence. The company fosters a fantastic culture that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and mutual respect, creating an environment where employees can thrive both personally and professionally. PPC also offers exceptional benefits, ensuring that team members feel valued and supported in every aspect of their lives. Leadership genuinely cares about its employees and encourages growth and development at all levels. It’s a place where you can take pride in the work you do and feel confident that you’re making a meaningful impact. I highly recommend PPC as a workplace. It’s a rare gem where great people and a supportive culture come together seamlessly.

Cons

The owner gets a bad rep. He's heavily involved without a doubt and I'm sure he created as many issues as he solved, but he's really been working hard on fundamentally improving himself and it shows.
