Unless absolutely necessary, don't work here. - Accountant Performance Food Group Employee Review

Pros

They pay inline with their competitors. They give token employee appreciation gifts. If you play your card right you too can get a package of surplus inventory addressed to the wrong person for employee appreciation day.

Cons

You will never have enough coverage to take any time off. Sick? Too bad you have deadlines. Need time because a family member died? Better think long and hard about taking time to grieve because your department will undoubtedly be understaffed and you have deadlines. Don't even get me started on trying to take vacation. But don't worry, you'll be constantly reminded that if you don't take the the time off (which you won't be able to) you'll lose your accrued time off for the year. In addition, the benefits are the worst I've seen in a company. They might as well just not offer health insurance with how bad it is. Lastly, upper management is more concerned with acquiring new companies than their employees well being.
