Pros

Collaborative/Remote/Innovative environment US and Canadian Holidays! Plus 2 Floating Holidays, as a result of DEI initiatives Professional growth encouraged I've been with PerfectServe for a while now, and I've been a firsthand witness to more change than most. But despite the change, the heart of the company has always been compassionate people whose work ethic reflects our mission. I love being surrounded by innovative, caring people who work together to achieve something great, and that very much describes PerfectServe. Additionally, this is a company where you can really grow. I joined in 2017 as a receptionist, became the office manager in 2018, got promoted to SR office manager in 2019, and shifted to a broad people operations role in 2021. I’ve felt valued and invested in and I know of many others who have been promoted and otherwise rewarded for their hard work. Are there problems? Sure. We've gone through quite a bit since 2017. But, more than anything, our leadership team is committed to finding solutions, and they're very transparent with employees about the state of the business. For example, we recently launched a people management tool after data from exit interviews showed us that we needed greater focus on employee engagement. The software aims at improving employee engagement through standardized 1:1s, performance management, engagement surveys, exit interviews and more. There are other examples I could provide, but my point is that our leaders care when something isn't right (or when something could be better), and they do everything they can to make sure we're always improving in tangible ways.

Cons

Work life balance can be challenging at times Remote work orientation makes socializing more difficult

Pros

The mission is real — we're not just selling software, we're improving outcomes for patients and the healthcare workers who care for them. My teammates are passionate, purpose-driven people who are here to make a difference, and that energy is contagious. The company equips you with the tools you need to actually do your job well rather than setting you up to struggle. Work-life balance is genuinely respected here, not just talked about, and when you perform, the company recognizes it — both financially and through real advancement opportunities. Promotions feel earned and attainable.

Cons

Communication from management can be inconsistent at times, which occasionally creates confusion around priorities or direction. Additionally, not all hospital systems have the internal governance structures in place to fully implement and adopt the applications — this can make success feel out of your hands at times. That said, it's also an opportunity to become a trusted advisor and help clients build toward better outcomes.

Hi there! Thanks for your review. Our support roles are INCREDIBLY important to the business. This is often one of the most frequent touch points for customers, so the training you mention is a process that we refine and invest in consistently. We want everyone on our support staff to be fully equipped to provide the best service possible to any customer who calls us. We also regularly review compensation to make sure it's competitive with the broader market, and we know we wouldn't be able to sustain this support function if compensation were misaligned. We'll continue to make this one of our priorities for this area of the business. Thanks again, both for your review and for your efforts with the support team!
