Pros

They made the switch to remote work; which is a pro.

Cons

Where do I start, leaders are fired or hired or promoted without clear direction. The leaders in place appear to be hand picked for no apparent reason other than their relationships more than their ability to lead and enact positive change. Org chart looks like an upside down pyramid, more big titles than actual ppl to get the job done. Extremely high turnover!! Its apparent that employees dont want to work for the leaders that are in place, but the leaders are still there. Must change at the top in order to activate true change. Oh yeah, they announced a diversity group at one point, put never hear anything from that group, then found out that it was employee led. Guess the executives had better things to do. Poor work life balance. It appears that the ship is sinking. No culture to speak of, mostly just vain talking about culture but nothing in actual practice. In a nut shell, just stir clear unless you just need a paycheck until you find your next gig. Private Equity ownership could be a pro or a con, in this case it appears to be a con.

Reviews like this aren't easy to read, especially in a public forum like Glassdoor, but it's important (and humbling) for us to hear this so I appreciate your willingness to engage. Your review covers a lot of ground and since you've moved on to another organization, my goal in responding to your review is primarily to address your comments around our culture and the leadership at PerfectServe. In my experience, culture isn't static or something to be consumed, but it's something that's cultivated and influenced by everyone at the company. The leadership team at PerfectServe does shoulder significant responsibility to promote an environment and culture that is healthy. I'll make sure to send your feedback along to all members of our leadership team as well as the culture team to make sure this feedback is considered in both groups. Positive change isn't easy and while PerfectServe is performing well on many levels both for our customers and our investors, we still have a lot of work to do to engage our team in these successes. Truly, I'm grateful for your feedback and sorry that your experience here wasn't more positive. I'm hopeful you're able to bring the lessons you learned here to make your next workplace a great place to work.

Pros

PerfectServe has a positive team culture. The people here make a real difference in the day-to-day experience. The fully remote setup with flexible scheduling shows that leadership trusts employees to manage their time and deliver results. One of the standout perks is the access to Senior Leadership. It's rare to feel like your voice can actually reach the top... and here it does.

Cons

The one trade-off of remote work is limited face-to-face connection with your team. It's not a dealbreaker because flexibility is worth it, but more opportunities for in-person collaboration (team offsites, occasional meetups) would go a long way in strengthening those relationships.

Thank you so much for this review! Our marketing team is a tight-knit group, so you definitely know what good team culture looks like. And duly noted about the opportunities for in-person collaboration—it can be tough in a remote world but we're always looking for ways to make stuff like that happen.
