Appallingly abusive!!! Throughout my time at Perchwell, I've observed a disturbing pattern where the CEO, Finance leader, tech leader, and chief of staff all adhere to a toxic ideology. This toxic culture normalizes yelling, belittling, and displaying patronizing attitudes towards employees and colleagues as acceptable behavior in a professional work environment.
There's a widespread issue of employees across all teams working late nights and weekends without any form of reimbursement, bonuses, or raises. Attempts to address these concerns are met with disregard or evasion by the leadership. Additionally, there's a blatant disparity in the treatment of employees, with some allowed to WFH while others are not, and inconsistencies in granting time off, despite the company policy of unlimited time off. The leaders take full advantage of this and their employees.
The public displays of temper and outbursts by certain leaders are both unsettling and frankly, laughable. BTW yes, we can hear leaders yelling at their employees or co-workers in the glass offices too.
Personally, I feel fortunate to have moved on, but I can't shake the worry for the friends and colleagues I've left behind who are still subjected to this abusive regime. My plea to them and anyone else in a similar situation is simple: PLEASE GET OUT.
