Pros

- Friendly coworkers and great work environment - opportunities for growth and managers are invested in their employees - employees are passionate about their work -free snacks and drinks -constructive feedback -good benefits and ample PTO days I had a very positive experience working for Perceptronics. My manager invested in my career by giving me opportunities to take seminars and classes to improve my knowledge in Human Resources. I helped organize fun work events for the employees, such as happy hours, holiday dinners, potlucks, and go-kart racing. Our manager was open to new ideas and wanted to make sure the employees were taken care of in a personal and professional level. T

Cons

- expectations sometimes not clearly communicated to employees

Pros

Do you want to work at a place with great people? Do you want to work at a place where you can feel supported in reaching your goals, personal or career? Do you want to build something new and work on hard questions? Do you want to be justly compensated for the work you put into the company? Do you want to be appreciated as a valuable member of the team? These are all things that I have had for the last ~8 years. I came to Perceptronics from a large, institutionalized development firm and have grown with the company taking on various roles from development to management. The company has quadrupled in size since I started and there is lots of opportunity to grow and take on new roles and positions for those willing to do so.

Cons

Do you want to slack off and not meet deadlines? Do you want to work in an institution insulated from the vagaries of the business and be just another cog in the machine and silo'd into a single role? Do you want to take breaks and play games at a fooz ball table while you do? Do you want a custom chef that will cater to your every dietary whim? Perceptronics has none of these things.
