Pros

Vacation accrual for the company is nice, though I am not sure if it is because of the contract I am on or Peraton.

Cons

They sent us a goody bag of cheap popcorn, and paper Pom poms for working through the pandemic and took away fellow coworkers insurance for their families without notice. The company’s time keeping is complicated with penalties if you forget to log time. The company promises to give all holidays off that the site of contract observes, this was a lie, as they made the employees work Juneteenth when the entirety of the site was off work. For the specific contract I am on, they lost all orders for parts and metals and threw the established accounts into an account hold that we can not negotiate around and without parts, we cannot continue the work.

Pros

Peraton is a great company to work for. My boss built a huge Datacenter from the ground up. He is very helpful to everyone in our team.

Cons

Onboarding is slow, it takes longer than I expected.

Cons

managers who shouldn't be managers because they do not possess professionalism, constant last minute projects requiring additional hours with no pre-planning
