Pros
Great for skilled entry level technical hires (Cyber/IT) to join and prove themselves. Something other companies seem less willing to do. Excellent if someone is knowledgeable and needs to get their foot in the door to obtain experience.
Cons
Raises seem nearly non-existent and the company appears to happily heap more responsibility on less staff without adjusting pay or promotions accordingly.
