Pros
The actual job, co-workers, and lower level management are unbeatable. 401K is better than what was offered with previous company.
Cons
Upper management to include CEO seem to have shifted their focus away from their employees and "teams," to profit margins. On "Day One" the message was passed that we would be our own entity, with less management levels to the top than what Harris has, which would mean increased profit overall. Well now that we are separating further from Harris, it is now clear that the employees are not going to see any of that increased profit. The company has taken away the unlimited vacation, and replaced it with one pot of 3 weeks PTO for new employees. That one pot means your vacation, sick time, and facility closure will come out of the same pot. Pay seems to be lower than most companies, to include what Harris is paying for similar positions. It's funny how we separated from Harris, which is supposed to be a positive (increased profit), but now Harris seems to be the better place to be (better pay and benefits).
