Unethical. Was given a raise only after 3 years when the government mandated it under SCA. Corporate didn’t seem happy about it on the Townhall call, and six months later during open enrollment rolled out a plan which clawed back virtually the whole raise by lowering the employer contribution by $6,000 a year. They didn’t announce this decision in advance. No warning. It wasn’t due to rising healthcare costs, it was just a brazen decision by corporate that they wanted more money. I’m now actively looking for work elsewhere, because I can’t afford to work for Peraton. They basically reached into my pocket, and took $6K, with only two months of notice. This strictly meets the definition of “legal, but unethical.”
