Pros
Unfortunately I can't think of one...
Cons
They offer no benefits for working here, the novelty of being in a fancy building with a gym wears off VERY quickly. Please don't bring any connections with you as they will effectively ruin your relationships by not paying them on time or even refusing to pay them at all for pathetic reasons. This can be print suppliers, retailers, models, photographers etc. it's an awful way to do business.
They micromanage everything including your working hours - they will clock watch every last minute but if you work any overtime, that goes unnoticed and unpraised. The very little working from home days and annual leave you do get, you can get approval from your line manager, but the wives will still ask your fellow colleagues where you are... its borderline obsessive and not constructive. We are adults and we should be trusted to manage our time accordingly.
I don't believe top tier management want the brands to succeed, I feel like he's just bringing out these brands and products to tell his mates he's done this and he's done that...
Being in the same building as The Fragrance Shop does not help either, Per-Scent is constantly made to feel less superior to this business and therefore the overall strategy is neglected. Watching money being poured into a fragrance wall to break a world record and thousands being spent on peacocking influencer events that I don't believe really drive sales instead of really investing in the brands Per-Scent have in their portfolio is soul destroying and before I left, morale was at an all time low.
Don't expect any sort of pay rise or promotion without having to throw in your notice first.
