      Pros

      My store manager is amazing as are the people I work with. Its a great way to remain within the industry without being a service adviser.

      Cons

      No clear directives, leadership,goals or assistance from Pep Boys as a corporation and from anyone above the store managers. Stores are often left high and dry as are our customers as a result.

      Through my career I have learned a lot on the automotive industry.

      Cons

      Corporate found a way to cut payroll by approximately $1k monthly to former assistant managers by eliminating the overtime associated with the position and eliminating the position , renamed it and lowered the hourly rate and put them under " commission ". Results...many guys looking for a new job cause with cost of living constantly increasing pay went down drastically plus most stores are understaffed but corporate keeps pushing for productivity, really bad work environment.
