Cons
"Taking care of cars and people" the Pep Boys objective and pure fantasy. The most dysfunctional organization I've ever been exposed to. Layers upon layers of managers running around reporting, reporting and more reporting but complete lack of emphasis on critical elements of running the business. The politics are insane and that starts at senior leadership, which by the way is a revolving door. Frustration, stress and total lack of positive reinforcement are the norm. Compensation? Well let's just say that they make a cloak & dagger game out of it and you'll chase your money around till you're dizzy, just to come out losing year over year. Product Managers are not treated with the respect that should be commensurate with the position. Was bad years ago and has only gone downhill under Icahn Enterprises rule. Office building is old, rundown and full of cockroaches.
