Cons
Degraded equipment, lazy managers, non-accessible HR, enabling rampant wage theft without consequence. If you like to steal wages and cheat the client, Penske will look the other way. You won’t be recognized for being honest; you’ll just earn less! They put WAY too much value in their driver-facing cameras. The newest ones actually check your body and flag you if your hands are off the steering wheels, you reach for something on the dash, it looks like your vaping or smoking, etc. the sleepers are slip-seated, which is unsanitary and counter to good maintenance. You can top off fluids, tire pressure and everything else and have to drive a completely vehicle your next shift and start over. We have to buy our own oil and coolant and I recently discovered they’ve been tossing my receipts in the trash and not compensating me. At this time, they are hiring multiple drivers for this account, not because the client is expanding, but because they simply don’t know how to treat drivers. I like the client and the actual work and I wish I could do that with a different employer. Penske doesn’t deserve this account.
