Pros

health insurance, salary, work from home

Cons

The intention for the Democracy for all -pennfuture program lacks strategy. There were multiple organizations dictating what the DFA team should be doing or pushed off their projects on to a “team” of four people with limited resources. I was asked to do tasks way outside my job description and when I voiced my discomfort, I was shamed. The Democracy for all penn future team was mismanagement and mistreated long enough by director and supervisors that it caused frequent miscommunication, misunderstandings and accomplishing work loads or projects very difficult because of the avoidant passive aggressive behavior from supervisors and directors. GroundGame, who myself and others were contracted through, lacked HR or mediation skills. When repeatedly approached to resolve issues they made it seem like the employees seeking their help were the problem. All of this caused me to separate from the company, a good salary, during a pandemic where job security it a high priority.
