Pros

Decent education for new grads, physically a nice updated hospital (at least children’s hospital), good food/drink options for dayshift, dress code was nice and not strict

Cons

Minimal food/drink for nightshift, management on my unit was horrendous, ran into issues with management and HR going against the union contract, pay not as good as other hospitals, scheduling was eh and on the unit I worked on all PTO requests were denied if it wasn’t a LTV and even then difficult to get approved, unit severely understaffed and many unsafe assignments

Pros

Decent company to work for depending on your department. Benefits and pay are average, enjoy(d) what I do each day and my peers were supportive.

Cons

We recently began losing a lot of great technicians over the last year. HR doesn’t hold management accountable for policies involving harassment and retaliation. Our department was always top notch but began failing significantly beginning in 2025. Now everyone is leaving or being fired for unwarranted reasons. Growing concerns over outsourcing due to lack of accountability in management.
