      Pros

      Amazing and knowledgeable faculties who provide great mentoring Professional development for postdocs is very well organized, and I can say it's better than most institutes in the USA. Very welcoming and helpful staff The place (state college) is also very uniquely beautiful

      Cons

      Significant issues related to funding creates a 24/7 feeling of uncertainty and hinders research progress. Very few internal job opportunities are available due to the same reason. Lower salaries compared to the cost of living and other institutions. Benefits are low compared to postdocs at other institutes.

      Pros

      They were very flexible with hours and it was a fun place to work. There was lots of downtime to do other things while on the clock, and an e-bike to get around campus quickly.

      Cons

      Toward the end they got pretty strict about keeping your computer on a certain tab to take online tickets, and you could get in trouble for not doing it. It’s tedious work overall.
