Good salary, office with windows, a 9-month contract, which gives about 3 months vacation, relative independence, good coworkers, young people around.
Cons
The quality of the employee's work is not as important as his/her good connections with the department head and/or influential faculty members when it comes to deciding who is to go due to budget restrictions.
