      ARL is nothing more than a "But-In-a-Seat" Contractor. Government Leads don't want a Senior Advisor; they want a contractor to keep their heads down and produce products. Most Government Leads are typical "Slow-Roll" Feds that are more concerned about their career than doing what is right!

      Usually 1-2 year contract, determined by grant funding and availability Workplace experience is more dependent on the individual researcher/research lab you end up working for than the university as a whole
