Pros

- Mission driven and talented Social Workers on staff who care deeply - wrap around care granted until end of life along with housing voucher

Cons

- low pay and low raises - borderline unethical practices in licensure— allowing and signing to license LCSWs with no clinical/psychotherapy experience; only case management - poor boundaries with clients

Pros

Amazing people to work with. Genuine, kind, and passionate. Where you are appreciated and valued constantly. Leadership work hard day to day to improve the organization. Management cares equally for the people we serve and our team.

Cons

I can't think of one. I tell people. When you first start a job and the first weeks or month feels to good to be true. Here, months will go by, years, it only gets better. And it is good and it is true!

Pros

My direct manager was really nice, understanding, and flexible. I think the material / company mission is interesting and rewarding.

Cons

It has been more than 90 days since I started and I still haven't been paid. Eventually I had to resign and submit a complaint with the CA DOL. Onboarding was a challenge. The IT firm they use was difficult and there were gaps where it just seemed like I should have had direction but did not. You're not paid for the IT onboarding either so functionally there were like ~20-25 hours of additional work that I had to do for free.
