Pros

Engineers are solid team players - the ones left weirdly a legacy clients have cult like loyalty If you live near Raleigh , NC and don't want to move this is perfect

Cons

C level Chaos Product is stale with zero growth Pivot to AI is forced and unoriginal - destined to fail like all the other pivots attempted Revenue is sliding because the product is no longer relevant Politics with some fierce tribalism - its like failed state broken into factions that clash constantly

Pros

There is a distinct kind of energy you only find when a group of deeply motivated people rally around a shared vision, and that is exactly what makes working at Pendo so rewarding. Even as we grow, we’ve held onto that core startup drive. It creates an environment where complacency doesn’t exist, and honestly, it’s incredibly contagious. What truly sets my experience here apart is the sheer scale of impact. At Pendo, your efforts don't get lost in a sea of corporate bureaucracy. Instead of boxing anyone into a rigid, narrow job description, the culture here invites you to color outside the lines. If you see a problem, you’re empowered to fix it. If you have a passion or a new path you want to explore for growth, the door is wide open. Of course, thriving in a fast-paced environment means embracing a unique brand of daily problem-solving. It’s challenging, unpredictable, and fast—but that is exactly what keeps the job fresh and exciting. One of the most defining elements of Pendo, though, is our leadership. True leadership isn't about being infallible; it's about accountability. Even when I don’t personally agree with every single corporate decision, I have immense respect for the fact that our leaders listen. They don’t shy away from constructive criticism; they meet it with professionalism and a productive mindset. To me, that transparency is the ultimate mark of capable leadership, and it's a massive reason why I’m proud to be here.

Cons

When you work in an industry like ours, there is inherent volatility. If I had different life circumstances, I can see how the dynamic and ever-changing aspects of our business would become a drawback instead of a manageable feature as I see it.

Pros

-great compensation once you surpass your quota- incentivized to be a top performer -Work/life balance is still considered important -the product is incredibly valuable and ever-evolving; there is no lack of innovation of the product -CEO genuinely cares for the company and the individuals -trust in the reps to know what is best for the company so you have the autonomy to operate in the way that you feel is best for the customer and for the company without incredibly stringent tools -I believe in the sales leadership that is place today and the direction that they are taking the company - they want us all to succeed. -great office and amenities -love my coworkers -sales leadership is open to feedback, even when it is incredibly busy -customers are incredibly happy with the product

Cons

-constantly changing priorities, which make Pendo not the right fit for everyone. You still have to get scrappy -it is a large product. If you are not willing to take the time to learn the product, this is not the right place for you. You need to know how to focus on value, and not expect simply a transactional sales process. You are not going to be spoon-fed, you must speak up when you are in need of additional learning opportunities
