Cons
It's hard to explain to outsiders just how dysfunctional and toxic this company is. There is undeniably an inside clique among leadership and key individuals. If your face doesn't fit, then you'll be ostracised, side-lined, denied opportunities, and in some instances subjected to bullying behaviour. The company is clearly struggling financially, but I think much of leadership are clinging onto what's left of PTP for dear life, as they know they would likely struggle to get roles elsewhere. Too many are sitting on their hands in comfortable roles, trying (and failing) to look busy, or flagrantly wasting company money on various jollies whilst staff are made redundant. Attrition is high; much of the talent has already left, and morale has dropped accordingly. The company has a incredibly callous attitude to leavers. Things feel very competitive and hostile. Employee benefits are a joke compared to competitors. Certain teams feel more siloed than ever. You will just be given excuses as to why you can't get involved or strung along with patronising delay tactics. If you raise issues internally you will essentially be told "not to make a fuss". Please ask yourself sincerely if this is somewhere you want to work. I advise you to heed the caution of the many negative reviews and look elsewhere.
