Pros

Amazing colleagues, has great culture.

Cons

Huge compensation gaps internally that don’t align with market rate. 14 year SME’s receiving same equity packages as people with significantly less experience. Minimal vacation time, lack of benefits, low pay overall. Low equity packages.

Pros

Peek operates in one of the most exciting segments of travel—helping tour, attraction, and experience operators modernize their businesses. The company is mission-driven, and teams care deeply about supporting operators and improving the booking experience for millions of travelers. People are smart, scrappy, and willing to take ownership, which creates real opportunities to drive impact. The company is entering an exciting new phase of growth with the addition of ACME and Connect & Go to the broader platform. These acquisitions expand Peek’s ability to serve attractions and operators globally while broadening the product ecosystem across ticketing, distribution, and on-site guest experiences. For teams working across product and technology, the opportunity to help shape a larger platform and unify capabilities across brands is both challenging and rewarding.

Cons

As the company grows and integrates new platforms, priorities can evolve quickly. The pace can be demanding, but it also creates opportunities for teams to influence the platform's direction and contribute to meaningful progress.

Pros

- Trusted to take on meaningful responsibility and drive work forward independently - Fast-paced, high-growth environment - Collaborative and friendly folks at Peek - High impact relative to role - Fun and interesting industry with unique problems to solve

Cons

- Context switching and competing priorities made it harder to go deep on any one initiative - Teams run lean at Peek, which, combined with a "yes culture," meant balancing a wide range of responsibilities that were all simultaneously "high priority." - Travel industry is far more susceptible to economic downturns. This resulted in a few large scale layoffs during my tenure
