Pros

This job gave me a lot skills to add to my resume. I was able to work on site with my technicians as a lead tech and was paid the additional payment on top of my salary. I did receive yearly raises which I never complained about. They do work with you if you need to work from home.

Cons

I didn’t appreciate how they let me go. They stated that they didn’t have any work for me or my co-worker thus informing us over the phone after we left work to tell us that we will no longer be there. After working there 4+ years, I did see all the accounts coming into the company so it was in fact a lie. I probably would’ve appreciated them telling us in person with respect to the amount of time we spent working there. They made me feel like I wasn’t valuable to the company and was easily replaced when in fact many technicians whom I recruited didn’t seem to like the other co-workers due to them never answering the phone. They quickly hired other people for lesser pay, a lot lesser pay.. so at the end, it was all about the money, not valuing hard workers whom sacrificed their time to make them look good. I would say be careful and do lot trust anyone there.

Pros

It will get your foot into the door way into the world of tech, exposing you to how help desk technicians work and how management handles you and the team of techs they bring along. They will have you doing work from different locations at times but the work is never too difficult to handle. Everyone, both team leads and other coworkers, are very nice and can handle most of the work they are given.

Cons

As the headline suggests, this is only a short term jump into IT as who would hand over a project over to someone the site lead barely knows anything about. The techs that do come, they do so in varying skill and experience levels, some may not know how to configure a WEY switch while others have no clue on how to Image a new PC. Not to mention on some unfortunate days the time techs end work could have you leave at 9pm or 11pm.
