Pros

My teammates at Peach were wonderful, relentlessly optimistic, and innovative people. The best thing about Peach, however, is that it taught me what I am really looking for in my work and life.

Cons

Peach was one of the most toxic jobs I have ever held, at the core of which is the CEO, who is volatile emotionally and has an inflated sense of self. I have a clear memory of thinking something was wrong when he screamed my team in a meeting for not being aware of what the latest app (that had nothing to do with our business) was. There are many examples of this behavior: - Once told me he never makes mistakes. - Send a rude email to an EA of our investor because she shared a name with my co-worker. - Often yelled at co-founders and dressed them down. - Dressed down other team members at all-hands meetings on a weekly basis. - Would call team over to him by shouting “Gather ‘round boys” and would add in girls only when it was brought up. And I could go on. The toxic behavior trickled down from there as management could be very unprofessional as well. Once in a meeting, I was about to ask for time off and my boss responded with “please don’t be pregnant.” There was also a problem of management hiring talented new people with nebulous job outlines and titles. These jobs would have high expectations and very little direction. Often they were let go when these expectations were not met. Lastly, communication between managers and subordinate was quite poor. Often critical information would be left out such as shift schedules and contract lengths. Perhaps most troubling is the lack of diverse women within the company, especially after viewing their 2017 International Women’s Day photo, which lacked all my former coworkers who were women of color. So, if you're a woman of color, beware. Peach seems to fire women and particularly women of color at a higher rate than the men (surprising since women only make up ~30% of the company). This lack of female coworkers had been pointed out many times and seemingly no attempt at further diversifying was considered or encouraged. Peach is also inconsistent with severance as well. I have heard from multiple women receiving and not receiving severance at random, with no regard for how long they had been with the company and what they contributed.

Pros

The organization offers a supportive work schedule and encourages employees to utilize the unlimited PTO policy, promoting work-life balance. Additionally, the company provides complimentary lunches and offers numerous opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Cons

The work environment can be high-pressure at times, with expectations that may shift rapidly or unexpectedly. Additionally, the office is not dog-friendly, which may be a consideration for some employees.

Pros

Pay is good and organized. They job is really fun! You can always call support and talk to a real person. Most deliveries are very simple. (most of them)

Cons

45 minutes delivery time is unrealistic in some areas. Support team want feedback but doesn't really listen especially when it comes to the Driver App. Black pages for help screens aren't really much help in new areas. I would call them and either my message wouldn't be relayed or they didn't think it was important enough to take into consideration. Until it affected my delivery. I would have open availability everyday, yet I never made it on the schedule ever again, I went from 5 days a week and enjoying Peach, to Zero days for the past 2 months yet still getting auto texts asking me to tell them when I can work. It got weird and impersonal. They don't think there's anything wrong with the app, I was made to feel like it was my fault.
