Committed caregivers; good physicians; good benefits; fair pay. Formerly adhered to mission and values, but that is being tested by new System administration.
Cons
The new executive management in Vancouver has created a sense of elitism, where the top administrators are paid extremely well and receive great perks, while the actual care providers are given unreasonable work loads. Hospitals are understaffed, moral is extremely low, a fortune is being spent on long-term consultants who mainly seem to recommend staffing cuts, while failing to identify what to do with the work that position was doing.
