Pros

Working at Payworks is like being part of a family. I feel like my well being, happiness and growth are taken into consideration and anyone visiting the headquarters can see that people are actually happy and enjoying themselves. Plus the work is challenging and important and you can rapidly see the impact and benefits of what you do on the company and the clients. I also really like that my coworkers are super talented and I get to learn from them everyday.

Cons

Payworks is fast-paced and you get to learn a lot, but it is still growing and it is not yet a huge company, so it does not have the resources of one.

Pros

- Great culture and people - Lots of opportunities for personal growth due to the size of the company and the fast pace of change - Work from home - As a team you can create and drive in-house projects - Developers decide on the technology stack being used, which usually results in the selection of the cutting edge technologies - Good hiring process in place which enables the company to hire the best people - Regular feedbacks - open-minded CEO and CTO who listen to employees

Cons

- Salary and benefits could be better - Sometimes work (scoping, clear boundaries etc.) can feel chaotic due to the nature of the company, but those things are usually quickly addressed. On the other hand that chaos provides the opportunity to bring your own expertise and ideas.

Pros

You really feel like a part of a team and can feel how everyone's work contributes to the end goals of the company. Working here, you do make a difference. Other than that, free German courses, hardware/software, fruits & coffee, amazing office space and even better company events! A huge plus is that there really is a flat hierarchy.

Cons

I wouldn't say it's a big Kontra, but still worth mentioning - sometimes there is a need for overtime work. However nobody forces you to stay longer and the work time is quite flexible - you can arrive later or earlier and leave accordingly if there are no meetings. Yeah, and the coffee is only OK. But new coffee machine is arriving soon!
