Pros

There is really nothing good about this company

Cons

After 16 years and bringing on 100 companies and managing this whole time, I experienced a personal tragedy with my daughter getting bone cancer. Elaine Kelly came to visit the Denver office. I had shaved my head because my young daughter had lost her hair. She came right up to me and said I will not have my managers with shaved head and I don't care if your daughter has cancer or not. You are the one with cancer. Well after 16 years need less to say I have a sense of pride and a comment like this coming from the CEO which many other employees heard left us all speechless. I was comforted by the other employees and they all wanted to quite immediately. She has some balls and will go after anyone. Praise the Lord she does not have kids.

Pros

This company has a wonderful culture and the wamth and genuine concern for others is apparent in not only their policies but treatment of staff. Life/work balance is encouraged and promoted. Salary is based on qualification and past work history. Training is supportive with both self directed tutorials and file share programs easily accessed.

Cons

Office politics can play a role as it can in any organization. Fly straight and your fine.

Pros

They will hire with very little to no experience and offer thorough training in the payroll field. You can learn many aspects of the payroll office as they will give you as much responsibility as you can handle(and more in many cases).

Cons

The management of the company seems clueless in a lot of very important areas. The team they have in the St. Louis office is incredible at their jobs and they offer them no recognition or reward for the work they do to hold the company together especially in this time when they are struggling. The harder they ask you the work to help the company the more they shut their doors so they don't have to see it. It's a very uncomfortable environment made worse by the direct management of the St. Louis office that does not have the skills, knowledge or education to be in charge of the livelihood of a great team of employees. They also emphasize to their clients "a completely personal" approach to payroll service, yet continually change the product to move away from that personal level they still sell, then they leave it to the specialist to make excuses for them and cover it up.
