Pros

Some of the best people I have met on the lower levels of the company. Upper management that started here/has been here prior to the hiring of Paychex/ADP upper-mgt really do care. Culture had startup vibes at one point, but this is a classic corporate environment now. If you get hired into a position that is a destination role, you're set to make a decent living with good coworkers and job security. In 2022, I would've given a 5-star rating. Free meals in-office on Thursdays and free snacks in the office each day.

Cons

Culture has deteriorated significantly in the past 2 years. The company forces people signed on as hybrid to be in-office 5 days per week but then threaten the culture crew for pushing for a Christmas party citing COVID safety for DECEMBER 2024. Company's flagship claim is that they never do layoffs. Instead, they brought an entire position group into a meeting on a random Tuesday and let them know they have a couple months to find different jobs internally or leave when hiring is at a near-standstill. The company has more or less froze internal hiring outside of filling in where people leave/are promoted. "Growth fuels opportunity" and when we incorrectly project growth, the opportunity goes away. DO NOT come here into an entry role expecting to be able to grow into management, those days have passed. Budget-tightening by upper management for everyone but upper management.

Pros

Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.

Cons

Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
