      Pros

      It’s hard to see a pro today. The company makes money to support rich investors.

      Cons

      Earlier this week an employee within the company passed away. This employee worked over five years for Paylocity. Even while sick and battling illness she worked until the finals stages of her life. It was a devastating loss to all of those that knew her. Today during a company wide meeting I thought they would have taken a minute of their time to acknowledge this employee and her service to the company. No, nothing was mentioned. She dedicated the final days of her life to continue to work for Paylocity and the CEO or other executives couldn’t acknowledge her? Instead they talked about how busy we all were working.

      We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We empathize with you as we are deeply mourning the loss of our employee. We are currently working with a committee to celebrate the employees’ life including a framed memorial for their office space in addition to coordinating a celebration of life event. We have also offered grief counselling to employees within our Lake Mary office. We highly recommend connecting with your HR Business Partner should you need to leverage additional bereavement support. We strive to support each employee and are happy to further discuss so that we can best support you, especially during this difficult time.       Pros

      Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

      Cons

      Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

      Pros

      Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.

      Cons

      Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
