They are understaffed, and every meeting with the CEO's and executives, they NEVER address the understaffing. In fact a meeting in Q3 2021 with the executives, they stated they've resolved the understaffing in multiple departments, though I've worked in one of those departments and know others in the other department and can confirm they are still understaffed. Though it seems the CEO's and executives don't care about that as long as the money is coming in. The CEO was intentionally 'sugar coating' the understaffing issue, instead of really addressing it.
This is terrible as many employees end up having to work 10+ hours of overtime weekly just to keep up.
The insane overworking is all year round, not just during our busy season. They keep saying we just need to get through the busy season, but then why has it been busy the past two years?
Part of the issue with us being understaffed is they also don't train well enough, there is too much put on the employees (learning multiple processes, payroll, medical benefits, timecards, taxes) when really these multiple processes should be broken out, not all under one person to handle it. This causes extra stress on employes making it so they can not know everything in the site, cause they are doing too many jobs.
I NEVER refer people to come work at this job for this reason, it is too much work and not enough employees.
I do not recommend working here as you will likely not have a work/life balance. Again there is job security, but you will be overworked.
